None of it worked. I finally realized that if I was going to find true freedom in my life, I needed to let Jesus heal some deep wounds in my heart. Through prayer, a whole lot of research, and developing new healthy habits, I was finally able to find healing to shed my shame once and for all. I learned I could choose to leave the affair behind. I could choose to pursue my own emotional healing and growth, no matter if my marriage survived or not. I could create new healthy habits that would move me forward in confidence, with strength and dignity. And I am SO ready to share what I’ve learned with you! It's that time of year! Roses, hearts, love, teddy bears and chocolate, and- emotional overload. During the affair, holidays were always a disconnecting experience. I disconnected from God, disconnected from my husband, and disconnected from myself. Today, I choose different!
